2 unusual facts about Life of Christ

Life of Christ

Hans Memling's Scenes from the Passion of Christ and Advent and Triumph of Christ are examples of a large number of scenes, in these case over twenty, shown in a single bird's eye view image of Jerusalem; another is illustrated here.

Of these, the Vita Christi ("Life of Christ") by Ludolph of Saxony and the Meditations on the Life of Christ by the Pseudo-Bonaventura were two of the most popular from the 14th century onwards.
