Mr. Henderson (Leo Burmester), the former overseer, and his wife (Linda Hart) have left the Jackson plantation, and they now run a nearby grocery store, where young redneck white men hang out, and James trades.
Solo work included appearances with The New Christy Minstrels as their only female leader, a stint on Johnny Cash's ABC television show, and opening act performances for country musicians such as Hank Williams, Jr., Mel Tillis, Roy Clark, and The Oak Ridge Boys.
Trailer Park opened off-Broadway at Bows at Dodger Stages on September 27, 2005, and starred Marya Grandy (Lin), Linda Hart (Betty), Shuler Hensley (Norbert), Kaitlin Hopkins (Jeanne), Leslie Kritzer (Pickles), Orfeh (Pippi), and Wayne Wilcox (Duke).
