In 2007, she starred in The Homecoming as Ruth, at the Auckland Festival AK07, and in the same year she toured Australia with the play Educating Rita, where she played Rita.

Lisa married her husband Chris Taylor in 2001 after they met at her co-star Rachael Carpani's 21st birthday party, they later divorced in 2005.
