Académica Petróleos do Lobito, usually known as Académica Lobito, are a football (soccer) club from Lobito, Angola.
Angola and Zambia: the vital Benguela railway line built with the British and linking Zambia and RDC's copper mines to Angola's Atlantic port of Lobito, was to be rebuilt by the Chinese company CIF (the project was canceled after US$3b disappeared).
The client was the Compania Mineira do Lobito, the Lobito Mining Company, which developed an iron ore mine inland at Cassinga.
It dates from 1905 and owes its existence to the bay of the same name having been chosen as the sea terminus of the Benguela railway to the far interior, passing through Luau to Katanga in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The species is also related to Marginella huberti Clover, 1972, from Lobito, Angola.

Nair Filipe Pires de Almeida (born January 23rd, 1984 in Catumbela), Benguela province, is an Angolan handball player who began her career in a small handball team called Escola de Andebol da Restinga, do Lobito (EARL).
Their homeland is the Central Highlands of Angola and the coastal region west of these highlands, including the cities of Benguela and Lobito.
