Zoopla was founded in 2007 by Alex Chesterman, who also founded ScreenSelect / LoveFilm and Simon Kain, former senior developer at Bookpages / Amazon UK and LoveFilm CTO.

He is signed to London based production company Knucklehead and has directed broadcast commercials for brands including Howies, Hitachi, COI, O2 UK, TV Licensing, Twinings and LoveFilm.
Included in the deal were Portugal’s top angel fund Shilling Capital Partners as well as Alex Chesterman one of the UK’s most successful internet entrepreneurs, having founded Zoopla.co.uk and LOVEFiLM.com, and William Reeve who co-founded LOVEFiLM.com.
