Lu is a golf instructor at Sunrise Golf Academy in Yangmei, Taiwan.
He became the special Adviser to director for the Cable & Wireless PLC and director of the Hong Kong Telephone Co. Ltd. and Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation later on.
He came from a distinguished background; his father, Chuen Sreshthaputra, was one of the sons of Luang Prasertwanit and a nephew of Phra Prasertwanit, who was the founder of the Sresthatputra family.
