Shakespeare Behind Bars, a documentary by Philomath Films based on Kentucky Shakespeare’s program at Luther Luckett Correctional Complex, was selected for its world premiere at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival.
The documentary Shakespeare Behind Bars, depicting a production of William Shakespeare's The Tempest by prison inmates, was filmed at Luther Luckett.
In addition to Poperratic, Luckett also writes and performs with electronic pop group DEUXO, with composer/musician/producer Schpilkas.

Jaye Luckett came to some international attention via her film and television soundtrack work with writer/film director Lucky McKee, with his features the cult favorite "May", as well as The Woods, Masters of Horror: "Sick Girl", and Roman (the latter written by and starring McKee, and directed by fellow frequent collborator Angela Bettis).

The E.P. was co-produced by Luckett, with A.J. Lambert, then-future film director Lucky McKee, and also Don Fleming (musician) noted music producer who has worked with (Hole (band), Sonic Youth, and Shonen Knife).
Luckett starred at the prep level for Kolbe High School in his hometown of Bridgeport, Connecticut before playing at Ohio University for the Bobcats between 1972–73 and 1974–75.
