Communist Party of the Philippines

Jose Maria Sison, allegedly the man behind the nom de guerre Amado Guerrero, confirmed its birth at Barangay Dulacac in the tri-boundary of Alaminos, Bani and Mabini in the province of Pangasinan.

Supreme Bishop

:- Convener of the Filipino Ecclesiastical Council (Paniqui Assembly), in response to Mabini’s manifesto urging the Filipino clergies to organize a Filipino National Church.


Kuraman Island

Two other major shipwrecks can be found in the area: the MV Tung Hwuang, a freighter that sank in the 1980s while transporting cement to Brunei for the Sultan's new palace, and the MV Mabini Padre, a trawler from the Philippines which caught fire and sank in 1981.
