One of Alfred Hitchcock’s favourite devices for driving the plots of his stories and creating suspense was what he called the 'MacGuffin'.
The first one asks, "What's a MacGuffin?" "Well," the other man says, "it's an apparatus for trapping lions in the Scottish Highlands."
He is the one who had absconded with 'The Manual' (Holy Scripts) and 'The Maguffin', which lets the person get entry into the Toy City from other dimensions.
