3 unusual facts about Malcolm Sayer


Jaguar D-Type

The aerodynamic bodywork was largely the work of Malcolm Sayer, who had joined Jaguar following a stint with the Bristol Aeroplane Company during the Second World War and later worked on the C-Type.

Jaguar E-Type

Malcolm Sayer retained the original tub with lighter outer panels riveted and glued to it.

One Lightweight was modified into a Low-Drag Coupé (the Lindner/Nocker car), by Malcolm Sayer.
