DJ Tintin

His reputation as a 'stadium' DJ grew when he was given the headline DJ spot at the legendary Manchester Versus Cancer gig at the Manchester Arena in 2006 - and was invited back as the headline DJ at the VersusCancer MEN arena events in both 2007 and 2008.

Tintin is a veteran of the Manchester music scene after starting his DJ career in 1987, known mostly for manning the decks at The Manchester Boardwalk (music club), The Haçienda and the Stone Love nights, he is also tour DJ for the band New Order, played all over Europe in his own right, and had the headline DJ slot at the Versus Cancer events at the Manchester Arena.


Crowd surfing

In December 2004 when the Beastie Boys performed at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England, Ad Rock stopped partway through a song to warn the crowds to stop surfing as somebody had been injured, following up the discouragement with "that shit is so old" and telling them to "save that shit for the MTV music awards".
