Larry Storch, better known as Brock Manhunter (born June 26, 1966) is a former LAPD homicide detective co-author of a book about serial killers with famed FBI profiler John E. Douglas.
Graham would later use the .44 Bulldog to kill serial killer Francis Dolarhyde in the film Manhunter.
He began a long association with station owner George W. Trendle and radio station WXYZ in Detroit, which was trying to make a name for itself as a producer of radio drama, creating and writing the early series Thrills of the Secret Service, Dr. Fang, and Warner Lester, Manhunter (which introduced Mike Axford, later a supporting character on The Green Hornet).
Partway through developing the series, Potter was told by editor Janice Race that the Martian Manhunter character would reappear in the Justice League of America title.
During his run on Martian Manhunter, John Ostrander used these similarities to explain that the Saturnians were a race created by and modelled on the Martians.
Arguably their best-known song, "Heartbeat", was featured in Michael Mann's 1986 thriller Manhunter, as well as an episode of Miami Vice.
