Gabriel is the daughter of former NFL defensive lineman, Manu Tuiasosopo, who played collegiately for UCLA, then professionally from 1979 to 1986 for the Seahawks and 49ers, being a starter at nose tackle and winning Super Bowl XIX.
He is the father of Leslie Tuiasosopo, Marques Tuiasosopo, Zach Tuiasosopo, Matt Tuiasosopo, and Ashley Tuiasosopo, and uncle of Ronaiah Tuiasosopo, perpetrator of the Manti Te'o girlfriend hoax.
