The Malayan Colleges Laguna (MCL or simply Malayan) is a private, non-sectarian, and wholly owned subsidiary of Mapúa Institute of Technology along with the other subsidiaries like the Mapúa IT Center in Makati City and the Malayan High School of Science in Manila.
April 10, 2008 marked a momentous event for Malayan Colleges Laguna, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mapua Institute of Technology, and Philippine Transmarine Carriers, Inc., one of the country’s largest crew management companies, as they launched the Mapúa-PTC College of Maritime Education and Training.

The Mapúa-PTC College of Maritime Education and Training is a maritime school under Malayan Colleges Laguna established in 2008 in the Philippines which trains students in the fields of Marine Engineering and Marine Transportation.
The Mapua juniors team returns with student-athletes from the Malayan High School of Science; the original Mapua Institute of Technology Pre-Engineering High School closed down after the Yuchengco takeover of the institute.
