In mid-2011, Hodges signed to Show Dog-Universal Music and released his debut single, "Hunt You Down", which he co-wrote with Rivers Rutherford and Mark Collie.
He also wrote hits for Hal Ketchum, "Small Town Saturday Night," for Trisha Yearwood, "Like We Never Had A Broken Heart," for Don Williams, "True Love", and for Mark Collie, "Calloused Hands."
Aside from past owner Ernie Ashworth of Grand Ole Opry fame, country singer, actor, writer, and Waynesboro native Mark Collie also got his start on AM 930.
