Christoffel Cornelius Froneman, commonly known as Stoffel Froneman (Leliehoek, Winburg 26 March 1846 - Cypress District Marquard 12 March 1913), was Veldkornet, General and Vice-Commander-in-Chief of the Orange Free State Boer forces during the Anglo-Boer War of 1899-1902.
After leaving Dear and the Headlights in 2007, Gospel Claws lead-singer and guitarist Joel Marquard returned to his job as a delivery-man for FedEx.
The following year, Marquard was sent to Pisa to suppress an anti-imperial revolt, and was wounded in the fray.

Marquard received a state with numerous rebellions, such as those of Gualtiero Bertoldo IV of Spilimbergo and of the lords of Duino, and in war with Albert III and Leopold III of Austria.
