Born in Milan, son of Barnabò and Beltramola de' Grassi, Estorre in 1404 had received as its domain the Lordship of Martinengo and Morengo.
Giuseppe Murnigotti (Martinengo,1834 – 1903) was an Italian inventor of the motorcycle.
It was built in the 15th century by Oldofredi and enlarged in the 16th century by Martinengo.
Sforza besieged Martinengo, but when Piccinino cut him off from any possibility of retreat the situation looked again favourable to Milan.
In 1441 it was acquired by Cesare Martinengo, and was later ruled by the Simonetta, Sforza, Bentivoglio and Del Carretto dynasties.
Surprised by the attack of Peter Ott on 29 July, Guieu rallied 400 men and withdrew to the Palazzo Martinengo in the village of Salò.
