In September 1999, he joined Λucifer, a real life counterpart from a band with the same name in the anime Kaikan Phrase and was given the stage name YUKI, as he was taking the role of Yukifumi Todo, the guitarist of the band in the anime.

In 2004, he formed Dustar-3, along with two former members of Sex Machineguns, Noisy and Himawari.
