One of the injured was Wajih Barzani, the brother of Masoud Barzani, leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP).
H.E. Masoud Barzani, the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government in Iraq said: "The United States has never wavered in its quest to help Iraqis build a democracy that rewards compromise and consensus.
