In Australia the chocolate tart came to national attention after being featured on the first series of MasterChef Australia in 2009.

Manu Feildel

Manu Feildel (born 1974) is a French celebrity chef, living in Australia, most widely known for his participation in Australia's cookery competition programs Ready Steady Cook, MasterChef Australia and My Kitchen Rules although he also achieved a solid reputation as a head chef at the restaurant Bilson's before moving to open his own restaurant, Manu at L'Étoile, in 2009.

Rhys Badcock

Badcock was approached by the production team to join MasterChef Australia: The Professionals where 18 chefs competed over two months.


Ben O'Donoghue

In June 2009 O'Donoghue took part in Masterchef Australia in a Celebrity Chef Challenge, where he was beaten by contestant Lucas Parsons, cooking a seared kangaroo loin with creamed corn.
