In 1974 Ferrara appeared as a contestant on Match Game '74, listing his profession as a "freelance piano dealer." Ferrara played to a zero-zero tie against defending champion Marlena Cruz; Cruz won the game 1–0 in a tiebreaker match.
His show also features the Sports Radio Match Game regularly, based upon the 1970s edition of Match Game, complete with audio from the show.

The announcer of the show was Gene Rayburn (who wouild eventually become a top-game show emcee, hosting "Match Game") and the bandleader was Skitch Henderson.
