He is one of the golden 1985 vintage, which also included Mattias Hargin and Jens Byggmark.
He was also an important part of the Swiss team that finished runners-up in the Team Event at the World Cup finals at Schladming in 2012, winning duels against Fritz Dopfer and Mattias Hargin in the competition.
He finished fifth in the slalom at the 2009 World Championships and competed for Sweden at the 2010 Winter Olympics in the slalom, finishing in 14th place.
