He graduated from Medaille College with a degree in Communications, with an emphasis on Radio Broadcasting.

McFayden attended Williamsville North High School before going on to play four years of college soccer at Medaille College, where he amassed 42 career goals and was named an NSCAA All-American and Regional All-American, an ECAC First-Team All-Star, was a three-time AMCC First-Team All-Conference selection, and was an NSCAA Regional All-American.
Riverside also has multiple community partners, including Medaille College, HSBC, Kaleida Health, and the National Academy Foundation.
Key to this goal was building a following on the college circuit, and he made the rounds at numerous New York and Massachusetts, such as the University at Buffalo, Medaille College, Rochester Institute of Technology, Keuka College, and Tufts University.
