In "A Week with Cinderella", Harriet MacGibbon, later Mrs. Margaret Drysdale, the banker's wife on The Beverly Hillbillies, appears as a home economics major who takes over the McNulty household while the regular maid is away.

She had a recurring role in the 1953/54 CBS situation comedy Meet Mr. McNutley in the role of the dean of a women's college.

Olive Sloane

The next few years brought roles for Sloane in other well-known films, such as the 1953 Ealing Studios satire Meet Mr. Lucifer with Stanley Holloway and 1954 prison drama The Weak and the Wicked, in which she played Nellie Baden, an elderly compulsive shoplifter sharing the cells with, amongst others, Glynis Johns and Diana Dors.
