The most popular DOD pedal was probably the "Grunge" - an extremely heavy distortion pedal described by the designer Jason Lamb to be inspired by the sounds of Nirvana and The Melvins.
It concluded its first volume, a 29-issue run which began in August 2005 with the Rolling Blackouts, in March 2006 with Melvins collaborator and solo artist David Scott Stone.
He was also involved with the filming and sound on the Melvins Fantômas Big Band DVD, "Live From London 2006".

Willis and Big Business bandmate Jared Warren both appear on the Melvins' albums (A) Senile Animal, Nude with Boots and The Bride Screamed Murder and have officially been members of the band since moving to Los Angeles in January 2006.

The band also appear on several compilations, namely the Gummo soundtrack, Cry Now, Cry Later series of 7 inches, and appear on the Melvins tribute album We Reach: The Music of the Melvins covering "Easy As It Was".

Lukin co-founded the Melvins in 1982 with guitarist/vocalist Buzz Osborne and drummer Mike Dillard in Montesano, Washington, where the trio had attended high school together.
