"Home Made Sex Change" was given away as a free download on the band's official website in 2002 and "Creeps" was available as a free track on a Metal Hammer compilation CD, given away with a copy of the magazine in November, 2004.
In June 2013, he won the Riff Lord Award at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods awards for his work on the album.
In addition, a "Sequoia Throne" remix contest was announced; the three winning entries were featured on an album bundle from iTunes, and one would be included on a Metal Hammer compilation CD.

Formed in 1995 in Adelaide, they have achieved international acclaim during their career, receiving praise from such magazines as Orkus, Metal Hammer and The Village Voice.
In November 2013 Bleed From Within were one of four acts alongside Amon Amarth, Hell and Carcass for Metal Hammer's Defenders Of The Faith IV tour.
With a series of sought-after demos trading between fans, the band released their first EP (1888) in 2009, and released their full album Grave Times for free, in the January issue of Metal Hammer.
