Aiken's tomb, located in Bonaventure Cemetery on the banks of the Wilmington River, was made famous by its mention in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, the bestselling book by John Berendt.
Bumstead worked on many films during his career, including: Slap Shot, A Little Romance, The World According to Garp, Cape Fear, Unforgiven, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, Space Cowboys, Mystic River, and Million Dollar Baby.
John David "Jack" Leigh II (November 8, 1948 – May 19, 2004), a native of Savannah, Georgia and a graduate of The Savannah Country Day School and the University of Georgia, was a photographer and author, best known for the cover photograph on the novel Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.
