Paul Kariya, at the time was captain of the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (now Anaheim Ducks), makes a cameo appearance during the second intermission of the Ducks/Varsity Warriors game.

Del Taco

In an effort to improve its reputation, Del Taco launched a sports-sponsorship program with teams in eight U.S. states, including the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim and Phoenix Coyotes hockey teams, basketball’s Los Angeles Clippers and Utah Jazz, the University of Nevada at Las Vegas’s football and basketball teams, and several minor league hockey and baseball teams.

Nikolai Tsulygin

Tsulygin was drafted 30th overall by the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft, the Ducks' second ever draft pick behind Paul Kariya and played twenty-two games for Anaheim, scoring one assist and collecting eight penalty minutes during the 1996–97 NHL season.

At the beginning of Game 3 between the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim and the Oilers, he sang only a few lines of "O Canada" before letting the audience sing the rest of the song without him.
