As recently as December 25, 2006, many listeners told the National Public Radio program Talk of the Nation that Mister Magoo was their favorite Ebenezer Scrooge.

The special's current owner, DreamWorks Classics, now also owns most of Paramount's short subjects (mostly animated, with some live-action) released between October 1950 and March 1962 through its purchase of Harvey Comics (this also included rights to many of the original characters created by Famous Studios before 1959, such as Casper the Friendly Ghost).


A Diva's Christmas Carol

She also sings a remake of the 1948 holiday classic "Sleigh Ride".

The film is a remake of the Charles Dickens classic, A Christmas Carol, featuring a pop singer who gets a reality check by three Christmas spirits.
