The culmination of the union year is an international MitOst festival that takes place annually in a new city (2003:Pécs/Hungary, 2004:Vilnius/Lithuania, 2005: Wrocław/Poland, 2006: Timișoara/Romania, 2007: Görlitz/Zgorzelec, Germany/Poland).
