Lucy left Models 1 and signed with Profile Model Management under the name Lucy Berry.

Lucy won the competition, receiving a modelling contract with Models 1 in London, a cosmetics campaign with Ruby & Millie Cosmetics, and a fashion spread in B Magazine.

Lucy was signed with Models 1, she has said about her job, "I love the creative aspect. You get to meet interesting people, people who think like you but also people who are completely different. You can be rewarded for being who you are, but also being able to act as someone else when required on a shoot or in a show."
She received a contract with top modelling agency Models 1, a cover and six page spread in Company Magazine, and became the face of a Max Factor cosmetics campaign as her rewards for winning the competition.
Cairns was immediately signed to Models 1 in London, after appearing on the show, being the first non-winning Britain's Next Top Model contestant to be signed by the prize agency.

All these Glorias, apart from the final two models (1.5-Litre Saloon and Fourteen (1767 cc) Six-Light Saloon of 1937-1938) were powered by 1087 or 1232 cc four-cylinder or 1467 or 1991 cc six-cylinder Coventry Climax overhead inlet and side exhaust valve designed engines (modified and built under licence by Triumph).
