He attended Monroe Community College in Rochester, New York, on a baseball scholarship, choosing this rather than options of The University Of Hawaii and Florida State University to stay close to his grandmother who raised him from the age of 6.

New York State Route 15

The route exits Henrietta for Brighton, but the commercial surroundings remain until Crittenden Road, a local east–west arterial linking NY 15 to both NY 15A and the Monroe Community College campus on the latter route.

Otis Young

In 1989 he joined the faculty at Monroe Community College in Rochester; he remained there as a Professor of Communications and head of the Drama Department until his retirement in 1999.
