Lobster Man from Mars

The King of Mars (Bobby Pickett of "Monster Mash" fame) commands the dreaded Lobster Man and his assistant Mombo (a gorilla wearing a space helmet) to pilot his flying saucer to Earth then steal its air.

Eventually, Tim concludes that he just can't find the WWWWWWW; however, he is encouraged to continue and his spirits pick up, but then he encounters "Musty Moldy Melvin" and his counterpart Greasy Grimey Gertie, in a song reminiscent of "Monster Mash."

Florence Foster Jenkins enjoyed an extremely brief resurgence of popularity on the show, and occasionally a more 'mainstream' oddball tune, such as "I Like Chinese" or "The Monster Mash" will be played.


Sheldon Allman

In addition, Allman co-wrote two comedy horror-themed stage musicals with Bobby Pickett, composer of the hit novelty song, "Monster Mash." The musicals were I'm Sorry the Bridge Is Out, You'll Have to Spend the Night and its sequel, Frankenstein Unbound (Another Monster Musical), the former of which was made into the 1995 film, Monster Mash.
