Montera is active as a player since the 70s and has done collaborations with artists like Fred Frith, André Jaume, Barre Phillips, Yves Robert, Loren Mazzacane Connors, Thurston Moore, Lee Ranaldo, Louis Sclavis, Hifiklub, Michel Doneda.
After the first small successes with PLG, North Pole, Montera and Magnetix, he had his first breakthrough with the first release of Fire & Ice, produced together with DJ Fire.
McCafé opened in Madrid, Spain on June 28, 2008, located in McDonald's Montera resraurants.
