Sojo graduated from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Studies (ITESM) with a bachelor's degree in Economics and received both a master's degree in Economics and a doctorate in Industrial Organization and Finance from the University of Pennsylvania, where he published several papers on econometrics and time-series with Lawrence Klein, the 1980 laureate of the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences.
Celis graduated in 1979 with a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Studies (ITESM) and received both a master's degree in Mathematics (1982) and a doctorate in Computer Science (1986) from the University of Waterloo.
Silverio García Lara is a professor and researcher with the Nutraceutical Foods for Treatment of Chronic-Degenerative Disease group and a professor in biotechnology with the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Studies, Campus Monterrey with the Escuela Biotecnología y Alimentos.
