After junctions with the N-II and AP-7 (junction 9) the road follows the river valley below Montseny passing through Maçanet de la Selva, Hostalric, Breda, Sant Celoni before ending at junction 12 of the AP-7 and the Autovia C-60.
On Friday evening, 3 July 1970, a Clarksons chartered Dan Air de Havilland Comet, registration G-APDN, en route from Manchester to Barcelona deviated from the intended course and crashed into high ground at Sierra del Montseny, Gerona, in northern Spain.
He is the son of José Luis Milá Sagnier, count of Montseny; younger brother of Mercedes Milá (also a TV journalist); and married to Sagrario Ruiz de Apodaca (also a TV journalist), with three children.
