Mosaic Music Festival

Launched by the Esplanade in 2005, the festival has since garnered good reviews in regional newspapers such as Thailand's The Nation, Hong Kong's South China Morning Post and Malaysia's The Star.

2008 - Guests at the Heineken Music Club grooved to the performances of the UK’s electronica band Fujiya & Miyagi, dubstep duo Kode9 and the Spaceape and the simply captivating electro indie-pop tunes of the bird and the bee.

Nathan Hartono

Hartono won the 2005 Teenage Icon singing competition, and has since performed at the Mosaic Music Festival and at the Singaporean National Day Parade.

On March 11, 2005, as part of the inaugural Mosaic Music Festival, he performed at the Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay in Singapore, with his international trio of Shawn Kelley and Belinda Moody, Singaporean singers Claressa Monteiro, Jacintha Abisheganaden, Anne Weerapass and Rani Singam, together with jazz legend James Moody, in a concert to commemorate Moody's 80th birthday.
