Christopher John "Ace" Kefford (born 10 December 1946, Moseley, Birmingham, England) is an English bassist.
She was born in Moseley, Birmingham, in 1913 and educated at St John's Convent School.
The word Moseley is taken from a suburb of the same name in south Birmingham, UK, where three of the band members were born.
Moseley is an area of Birmingham where the band formed, and they named their recording studio Moseley Shoals in deference to Muscle Shoals Sound recording studio in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.

Moseley is a graduate of Livingston High School in Livingston, Texas.
She subsequently designed the grounds of several residential estates near Boston, most notably Frederick Moseley's large Newburyport estate, 1904-1906 (now Maudslay State Park), and the garden at Alice Mary Longfellow's house (now the Longfellow House–Washington's Headquarters National Historic Site) in Cambridge.
