Move On Up

An edited version of the song was used on the soundtrack of the 1974 film The Groove Tube.

A live version by UK group The Jam appeared on a limited edition EP with their 1983 album Snap!.

In 2005, the producer Just Blaze uses a slowed down horn sample from "Move On Up" for the song "Touch the Sky" by hip hop artist Kanye West on his album Late Registration.
