Max Hodge (died August 17, 2007) was an American television writer who worked on shows including The Girl From U.N.C.L.E., CHiPS and Mission: Impossible, and is perhaps best known for creating Mr. Freeze for Batman.

He has, for example, written and produced the hit song I Wanna Sex You Up by R&B boy band Color Me Badd and co-written and co-produced Break Of Dawn for Michael Jackson's #1 album Invincible.
He also did the voice of Detective Harvey Bullock on Batman: The Animated Series, Superman: The Animated Series, The New Batman Adventures and Static Shock, as well as in the theatrical release Mask of the Phantasm, and the video releases Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero, and Mystery of the Batwoman, He also played a vocal role in the 2010 video game Mafia II as Joe Barbaro and Frederico "Fat Derek" Pappalardo.
Killer Frost returned during the events of One Year Later, where she had apparently entered into a relationship with Mr. Freeze.
At one point in the movie, Poison Ivy (Uma Thurman), who is infatuated with Mr. Freeze and his powers, pulls the plug on Nora’s cryogenic tank in an attempt to kill her and have Freeze to herself.
During a later appearance, D'Anjou is abducted by Grant Walker — a man who had forced Freeze to subject him to the same treatments as he had undergone — to research a cure for his condition, forcing Nightwing and Batgirl to team up with Mr. Freeze to stop Walker after Batman is incapacitated.
