They have performed nationally at many well known venues and concerts including McCarren Park Pool, True/False Film Festival, Looptopia, Lollapalooza, Rothbury Music Festival, Tour de Fat, Theatre Bizarre, and were featured on Late Night with Conan O'Brien in 2006.

The band, whose name comes from the Italian for "crazy cow" which is also a name for the Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease, has been performing in and around the Chicago area since 2004.
