Alexander Girard

Girard was commissioned to create a mural for the John Deere Company, in the entrance to their administration building designed by Saarinen near Moline, Illinois.

Beverly Willis

Upon graduation from the University of Hawaii, Willis founded the Willis Atelier in Waikiki, where she continued the mural and fresco work begun in college under the training of Jean Charlot.

Bowery Mural

Real estate developer Tony Goldman started the Bowery Mural with Jeffery Deitch and Deitch Projects.

In November 2010 for the fourth project Goldman presented on this historic wall a recreation of Keith Haring’s famous 1982 Bowery mural.

The Cárcamo de Dolores (Sump of Dolores) is a hydraulic structure located on the Second Section of Chapultepec Park, in Mexico City, comprising the building designed by architect Ricardo Rivas, inside the originally underwater mural Agua, el origen de la vida (Water, source of life) of Mexican muralist Diego Rivera, the art installation Cámara Lambdoma by Ariel Guzik, and in outside, the Tlaloc Fountain, also of Rivera.

Charing Cross tube station

Mary Beth Edelson

In 1972 Edelson used an image of Leonardo Da Vinci’s mural to create Some Living Women Artists / Last Supper. She used collage to add notable women artist's heads of the men in the painting, which quickly became "one of the most iconic images of the Feminist Art movement." John the Baptist's head was covered by Nancy Graves and Christ by Georgia O'Keefe.

Michael Peter Woroniecki

"The grass and goalposts were the same but I was changed" says Woroniecki, adding that he found significance in the recently painted Touchdown Jesus on the library mural right in front of him.
