Bernard Stiegler

Between 1978 and 1983 Stiegler was incarcerated for armed robbery, first at the Prison Saint-Michel in Toulouse, and then at the Centre de détention in Muret.

Crown of Aragon

Peter's army crossed the Pyrenees and arrived at Muret where they were joined by Raymond of Foix and Raymond of Toulouse's forces, in September 1213 to confront Montfort's army.


Carpoforo Tencalla

About 1675 he decorated the apse surrounding the main altar of the Dominican church in Vienna with two historic paintings of Christian victories, both attributed to power of the Rosary: 1) the Battle of Muret (1213) and 2) the Battle of Lepanto (1571).

Germerius

The former has subsequently been identified as either the church of Saint-Martin in Ox, a village roughly 4 kilometers southwest of Muret, or the church of Saint-Martin of Roziniac.

Jakob Lechleiter

Lechleiter served as the Zurich canton secretary of the Swiss Party of Labour between 1945 and 1956, and as national secretary of the party between 1966 and 1978 (as part of a triumvirate along with Jean Vincent and André Muret).
