Since 1989 she has been living, working and exhibiting in NSW, Australia, and since 2000, living in Blandford, a small country village near Murrurundi, in the Upper Hunter.
It operated studios in Willow Tree (near Murrurundi) and Muswellbrook, and operated from transmitters serving both areas.
It was abolished by amalgamation in 2004, with the parts of the shire north of the Liverpool Range being incorporated into the new Liverpool Plains Shire, and the part of the shire south of the Liverpool Range, including the town of Murrurundi, merged into the new Upper Hunter Shire.
In 1854, oil shale from the River Lett near Hartley, New South Wales was exhibited at the Paris Exhibition and in 1862, oil shale from Murrurundi, New South Wales was exhibited at the London International Exhibition.
