Vern Albright is the vice-president of the investment firm of Honeywell and Todd, where his bosses are George Honeywell (Clarence Kolb) and Todd (George Meader).

The program's theme song was originally titled "Bows and Strings in Teasing" by its composer, Alexander Laszlo, when he composed it for a 1946 Republic Picture, The French Key.

The Deadly Game

The film was written by Wellyn Tottman and directed by Phil Rosen, and was Farrell's fifty-third and final movie appearance; he would reemerge more than a decade later on television as the lead in My Little Margie.


Clarence Kolb

He is best remembered for his role as the grumpy father in the multi-Academy Awards nominated hit comedy film Merrily We Live (1938), the corrupt mayor in the comedy His Girl Friday (1940), and as Mr. Honeywell in the television sitcom My Little Margie (1952).
