A.Skillz kicked off 2005 in January with a mini-mix for Annie Mac that was later voted best mini-mix of the year by Radio 1 listeners, beating industry heavyweights such as Basement Jaxx, Mylo and Scratch Perverts.
"Doctor Pressure" is a mash-up between the songs "Drop the Pressure" from Mylo and Miami Sound Machine's "Dr. Beat".
The track "In My Arms" sampled the song and was featured on the album Destroy Rock & Roll, by electronic musician Mylo.
"Walking with a Ghost" was also the subject of a popular mashup when Party Ben combined Tegan and Sara's version with Mylo's track "Paris Four Hundred".
In 1997 he started his own independent record company Recall Group signing many Artists including The Servant, Jehro, Thomas Dydahl, Grand National, Mylo, Robots in Disguise, Fires Of Rome and Dan Black.

She is married to songwriter Iain James and they have twin boys Theo and Mylo born in July 2012.
In 2005 The Young Punx produced a satirical remake of Mylo's "Destroy Rock & Roll" entitled "Destroy Celebrity Crap" which replaced the original's list of 1980s pop stars with a list of the main celebrities who were currently dominating the UK media in a lighthearted backlash against the dumbing down celebrity focus of the media.
"Where Am I Going?" was sampled in the song "Zenophile", from the 2004 album Destroy Rock & Roll, by Scottish electronic music artist Mylo.
