After producing a short trailer in 2005 for use as a tool to obtain funding for a pilot, he took the pilot to the NATPE trade show in Las Vegas where he was able to obtain funding from an investment group in Houston to produce a full length pilot in 2006 consisting of 12 mini-episodes for distribution over the internet.
Daisy has spoken on industry panels at conferences such as the Consumer Electronics Show, The National Association of Broadcasters and the National Association of Television Programming Executives.
Encouraged by syndicated programming salesmen, 64 program directors (NATPE’s charter members) named Stan Cohen of WDSU New Orleans temporary president and set about organizing a meeting.
