UCD, Ballyboden St Enda's, Raheny, St Oliver Plunkett's-Eoghan Ruadh, Skerries Harps, St Vincent's, St Peregrine's, Kilmacud Crokes, Trinity Gaels, Na Fianna, Ballymun Kickham's, St Patrick's Palmerstown, Parnells, Templeogue Synge Street, St Brigid's and Lucan Sarsfields all went on to qualify for the winners section of the second round of the Dublin Championship.
They won the title for the third time in the club's history when they beat Na Fianna in a replay.

Kilmacud went on to win the 2005 Dublin Championship following a comprehensive 1-14 to 0-09 victory over Na Fianna and added to their success by winning the Leinster Championship following a 0-10 to 0-09 victory over Newbridge at Navan.
An avid sports player, Damian has a keen interest in rugby and Gaelic games, winning a Leinster Senior Hurling Medal with St Kieran's College, Kilkenny and a Leinster Minor Football Medal with Laois.
In January 1916, Carrigan and fellow IRB members from Glasgow travelled to Dublin along with members of Na Fianna and Cumann na mBan and formed the Scottish Division of the Irish Volunteers and were based at the home of Count Plunkett in Kimmage, County Dublin where they prepared for an insurrection against British Rule in Ireland.
Kilmacud won by 1-12 to 0-9 against a Na Fianna side which came under new management with the loss of Paul Caffrey to the Dublin Senior Football Team.
