He also appeared with such musicians as Anner Bylsma, Nancy Argenta, Simon Standage, Ronald Brautigam, Wieland Kuijken, Alexei Lubimov and many others and on such American festivals as Ravinia and Santa Fe Chamber Music Festivals and German ones such as Schleswig-Holstein Musik and Berliner Festspiele.
These have included the Handel oratorios Jephtha, Samson, Judas Maccabaeus, Saul and the Messiah with highly distinguished soloists such as Emma Kirkby, Michael Chance, Nancy Argenta, David Thomas, Stephen Varcoe, Miriam Allan, Joanne Lunn and many others.
In the classical era she is noted for performances of Haydn masses (some of which she has recorded with Pinnock and Richard Hickox), Haydn's Creation, the role of Zerlina in Don Giovanni and Despina in Così fan tutte.

She has recorded Schubert for the Virgin Classics label, and has sung in performances of music by Mahler and Schoenberg.

Her professional operatic debut was in two roles in Rameau's Hippolyte et Aricie at the 1983 Aix-en-Provence Festival.
