Nawal Al Zoghbi

In 1988, Nawal participated in the talent show Studio El Fan in which she demonstrated a great voice singing "Tarab" songs especially songs of her muse and diva Warda and was noticed by then director of the show "Simon El Asmar".

In 2002, she worked with music video director Sherif Sabri to create a new image for her album and single titled "Elli Tmaneito", the video spawned some controversy since it was clearly a copy of the Spice Girls video for their song "Holler".


Betfakar Fi Eih

Betfakkar Fi Eih was the most selling album in the Arab world (Middle East and North Africa) for the year 2008, even though there were huge competitors at that same year including Nawal Al Zoghbi, Elissa, Ragheb Alama, Tamer Hosny, Samira Said, Marwan Khoury, Myriam Fares, Haifa Wehbe, Mohamed Hamaki, Amal Hijazi, all of whom released comeback albums in the same year.

Studio El Fan

Created by Alfred Barakat and Simon Asmar, the show is credited for being the launching platform for many of today's Lebanese and Arab stars, such as Majida El Roumi, Walid Toufic, Ragheb Alama, Diana Haddad, Nawal Al Zoghbi, Elissa, Wael Kfoury, Rami Ayach, Bassem Feghali, Sara Al Hani, Jean-Marie Riachi, Fares Karam, Fadl Shaker, Assi El Hellani, Youssef Cheayto, Suzanne Tamim and many more.
